Genius Idea For The Busy Mom: The "Mommy, I'm Bored" Activity Jar!
I don't know if you all know this, but not only am a a business owner, but I also home-school my 6 year-old daughter. I am super busy! Not most days, but EVERYDAY!
I dedicate my mornings to my daughter. I give her her lessons, do arts & crafts, play games, etc. After that, It's my time! I start working on my to-do list. That means, blog posts, business building, phone calls, e-mails, cooking, cleaning... whatever has to be done for the home and my business.
Now, there are some days when my daughter miraculously let's me handle my business without bothering me... but most days... that is NOT the case! So, I decided to create the "Mommy, I'm Bored" Activity Jar.
I got the idea from www.thehappyhousewife.com I thought is was genius and as you can see from the picture above, both my daughter and her cousin created their own jars. Once they were finished with their creations, I then took some flash cards and cut them in half. Then, I wrote all kinds of activities on them. The Happy Housewife was gracious enough to share with us the activities she came up with. You can find them HERE.
The idea is to keep your children occupied with a different activity for 30 minutes. So, if I'm busy and my daughter is bored, I tell her to go pick a card from the jar. She then spends the next 30 minutes doing the activity written on the card. Isn't it genius!! I think so. I made use of it today and it worked like a charm.
So, if you are looking for something to keep your children occupied while you get your work done... I highly recommend The "Mommy, I'm Bored" Activity Jar!
Wishing you success in Love and Life,
Monique~ The WifeyMommyPreneur!

Appreciate Your Man! Or... "Hello Sideline!"
Source
You've heard the old saying, "What you won't do, someone else will!" Well it's true!
Never make the mistake of thinking that your coochie is golden and that's all it takes to keep your man faithful. Coochie is everywhere! What else are you bringing to the table to keep your man close to home?
Believe it or not.... There are always gonna be other women, with no problem being the woman on the side, trying to steal YOUR man! You may be saying... "Yeah right! Not my man!" Yes! YOUR man! Don't believe me? The next time you're out with YOUR man pay attention to the way other women treat him and how he responds. If he's laughing and having a good time with another woman and you know that you two don't ever seem to connect like that... Watch out! Especially if she's the man stealing type. She will sense that something is wrong in your relationship and make sure that she has him laughing all night! That's why you have to be on top of your game and make sure that you are and always will be the woman that's got his full attention.
I remember years ago, being out with my husband.... We took a long walk from our apartment after I had given birth to our daughter to get some exercise. I had on my exercise pants, a t-shirt and my running shoes. I had my daughter in the stroller and we were getting a good workout in.
We were passing my husbands bank and decided we should go in since he had a deposit to make anyhow. Well, while we were in line, one of the girls that worked at the bank gave me the most vindictive look. She looked at me, then she looked at the stroller and then right at my husband. It was like she was analyzing us and hated that we were together. Immediately my home-wrecker radar started to go off.
My husband had a bright idea that we could just make the deposit through the ATM. He wanted to try out the service, since he had never done it before. He spoke to one of the guys that open new accounts about it and they told him that he could do it at the ATM outside. I was glad because I was tired of getting the evil eye from little Miss Bank Teller.
So we're at the ATM making our deposit and Little Miss Bank Teller actually comes outside in her 5 inch heels with the tightest little dress on and a gorgeous body! She totally ignores me and walks right up to my husband and says, "Is everything okay? Do you need any help with your ATM deposit?" He looked at her and said, "Awww. Thank you, but I've got it." He totally ignors how hot this girl is. Meanwhile I'm baffled! She then gave me a piercing look and then looked back at him and said, "No problem sweetheart." And walked away.
I was pissed! I felt so disrespected by this woman. But, such as life. I had seen this before. I'm not new to this... I'm true to this! Little did she know, I had my husband on lock and I still do! I aim to please and he knows that I appreciate him. And that's exactly why he ignored her ass! lol
My husband is an entertainer. There are times when he has to travel. I have actually had women come up to me that have traveled with him and ask, "What do you do to keep him faithful? Girl, there were so many groupies after him and he was ducking and dodging all of them." The answer is this....
Not only am I a lady in the streets and a freak in the sheets for my man... But I also treat him like a freaking KING! I massage my mans feet, I make sure to listen to him when he's talking and laugh at his jokes and joke back. I make him coffee and breakfast EVERY morning, lunch and dinner every night and when he's in his studio writing and recording... I make sure that respect that by giving him some space and not bothering him. I play the role of a woman and let him be a man. I am his homie, lover, and friend. Do we fight? Of course... but we always end it with great make-up sex! :) There is no room in his life for another woman. And he let's me know how much he appreciates me by being faithful!
My words of wisdom: Never take your man for granted. You know what things are important to your man. Cater to his needs. Or someone else will~
Relationship Tip:
Make your Man feel appreciated. In studies about why men cheat on their wives, it was found that the reason isn't sex or attraction; it's usually that they feel emotionally disconnected from their wives because they feel unappreciated, and they're drawn to other women who make them feel appreciated.
Always wishing you success in Love and Life!

Makeup: How To Get Kissable Lips!
I wanna give a big shout out to my friends MAKEUP ARTIST on Facebook! They always give great makeup tips! For more tips like this one, you can add them to your FB circle of friends HERE!
Quick Steps to Kissable Lips -:
How to Get Kissable Lips. The most kissable lips are smooth and sweet, not dry, chapped and tense. Want extra smoochable lips this season? Of course you do. Here’s how to get them, on the quick!
# Step 1. Prepare your lips by using warm water, a wash cloth and a lip mask (like this one from Mary Kay) or another safe, grainy cleanser. Apply the mask or cleanser directly to moist lips. Allow to set while you prepare the warm cloth. Rub the mask/cleanser off by using circular motions. This will help work most of the dead, dry skin off, revealing smoother, plumper lips. This step should be done once or twice per week.
# Step 2. Slick on a lip balm with SPF. Choose something that is moisturizing, but not greasy. Vaseline is great for night, but is a disaster under lipstick. Allow balm to set on lips for several minutes, if possible.
# Step 3. Line lips. Choose a liner two shades or so darker than your lipstick, and trace your natural lipline, paying special attention to your Cupid’s Bow (the “V” part of your top lip). Once lips are lined, color in the remainder of the lip with the liner as well. This gives a nice base color in case your lipstick later does the slide.
# Step 4. Add color. Now it’s time to slather on your lipstick. After your first coat, grab a lint-free tissue and blot by placing the tissue between your upper and lover lips, and pressing down. Next, swipe on another coat. If possible, separate a 2-ply tissue so it’s one-ply, then place the tissue gently over lips and dab with loose powder. The tissue acts as a filter, allowing just enough of the powder to get through to set the lipstick without changing the lip’s color or texture.
# Step 5. Choose a gloss to highlight and plump. With gloss, you want to dab, rather than slick. A small dab of a shimmery or light-grabbing gloss in the center of your bottom lip will plump up your pout in an instant. That one small move adds dimension and a shot of light to your lips, drawing the eyes of you-know-who right where you want them.
# Step 6. Blot. Place your index finger between your lips and pucker up. See the lipstick left on your skin? That could’ve been on your teeth. Do it again, just to be safe.
So, that’s it. Remember to change up colors to suit your moods, but to also have one “constant” color in your purse or locker for emergencies. Investing in a lip mask is a great idea, but if Santa’s not springing this year, just be sure to work that warm wash cloth around your lips.
