Susan Sly is a  self-made millionaire, best-selling author and speaker.  In this video she shares her must-know tips for people who have home-based businesses.  This Fall Susan will appear on CNN, CNBC, and Fox and has appeared on Lifetime Television, The CBN and been quoted in Forbes Magazine Online. She is the mother of 5 children and loving wife to her husband, Chris.

So just like the rest of us, she is busy!  Yet, she is still running successful businesses, while she does all of her mommy and wifey stuff.  :)  

I made this video a part of my self-development today and I'm so glad I did.  The tips she shares are easy, but doable and common sense really, but sometimes you just need a refresher.

The more you learn about blogging, the worse you become at doing it!

There comes a time in every bloggers life when you wonder whether or not you're doing it right.

Who am I writing to?

Is my writing too broad?  Do I need to narrow down my target market?

Should I consider my readers to be a market or are they just people?

Do I need two separate blogs?  One for personal pleasure and one strictly for business?

SEO??  Or should I say, (Search Engine Optimization) and  Am I doing it right?

Yes.  I'll admit it... In order to have a successful blog you do have to have some basic knowledge of what it takes to get the best results.

But...  As a matter of fact, (Capital) > BUT!

If you started out loving being a blogger and now you're completely lost from information overload and are afraid to blog for fear of doing it wrong, it's time to go back to the basics.

You'd be surprised how writing without an agenda will, in fact, give you better results and you'll
love blogging again!

Isn't that what it's all about anyhow?

Didn't you start out blogging simply because you wanted to share something with the world?

I know I did!

Don't get me wrong...

I went through the, "I'm not posting anything on my blog unless it's expert advice!" phase.

And guess what?

I guess I didn't have any expert advice to give, because I completely abandoned my blog for months at a time!

I lost my passion for blogging for a while, because I began blogging for profit instead of blogging for the love of blogging.

Big mistake!

Not only do you loose your loyal readers, because they can sense that something has changed in your writing or lack of, but you also loose a bit of your credibility, which is major in the blogging world.

Don't let all of the, "If you're going to do it, do it right or don't do it at all" messages out there stop you from doing what you love or have a desire to do.

Just do it!

The rest will fall into place.  You will be happier and your readers will love you for it!

Starting to pay more attention to advertising, because, YES!  I am back in school at Full Sail University and I'm taking the media communications certificate course and I'm loving it so far.  Yet another thing to add to my daily to-do list, but hey, YOLO (You only live once!)  :)

Soooo.... Budweiser released this super cute anti-drunk driving PSA. Instead of car crashes and injured or killed people, this ad takes a gentler approach, showcasing a man and his dog. What are your thoughts on the new ad? ‪#‎FriendsAreWaiting 

Ideas are God Given. Move on them!

If you are given a great idea, take the action necessary to make that idea happen!



When you can turn your ideas and visions into goals, that is when you turn your dreams into a reality.

How many calls do you get per hour as a call center home agent? Do you h...

I got a couple of questions from my viewers about working from home as a call center agent for Intuitive Solutions Pizza Hut through http://contractworld.jobs 
Question 1 was: How many calls do you get per hour as a call center home agent?

The average for all home agents is 21 calls per hour. There were some agents taking 30 to 40 orders per hour. My average was 25 to 30 at $0.49 per call. You do the math! :)

The 2nd question was: Do you have to pay for training?

Yes. I did have to pay for training. Once you go through the interview process and get accepted as a home agent, you do have to pay for training and it was $99. The cool thing about it is that after working for 3 months the company reimburses you the $99. So it's a good deal.

Vlog: What are your daily income producing activities?

There was a time when all I did was prepare to make money.  I would sign up for a home business opportunity and be constantly reading about the products and services so that I'd be ready for any questions that potential customers or business partners would ask of me.  I would be on every weekly or daily call to soak up information from leaders and to get inspired.  But I never really got out there and did the work.  The truth is I was afraid.  But in order to make money in your business you have to jump in the water and swim!



I want you to stop what you're doing to prepare for success and jump in that water and swim.  Make that youtube video right now.  Create that blog post right now.  Make that phone call right now.  You already have everything you need to succeed.  Use the tools you have and get to work!

I have so much to be happy and thankful for and I love to pass on positive energy to others.

There is nothing more difficult for me, than having to work side by side with people who are utterly miserable and negative.

Lately I have been thinking of ways to remain positive even when others around me are not.

Is there such a thing as an overachiever!?

So, yes!  For those who do not know, I am working full-time now while I build my online businesses.

I took a position at a local hospital and overall I am loving it.  The thing that is totally baffling me is the fact that I have recently been told by multiple co-workers that I am an "overachiever".

What!?

I have never heard of such a thing!

It's been a long time since I've worked outside of a management position and considering I have no background in the medical field, it only makes sense that I start out as a general employee.  And to be honest, there is nothing easier than having to work a job and not worry about being responsible for your entire shift and only having to worry about your personal performance.  I am breezing through my shifts.

On the other hand....

I feel like I am in a room full of whiny babies!!  Everyone is complaining about their jobs and how much they have to do and they all feel like they don't get paid enough.

It's actually quite sad.  I won't mention the name of where I work for confidentiality purposes.  :)

The thing that is crazy to me is the fact that they don't believe that there are any "opportunities" for them in this world.

For one thing, if they would have a better attitude and work to the best of their abilities, maybe, just maybe they would get a promotion.  And guess what!?  There is a management position open in our department!!!

But not one of them is interested in taking on the responsibility or the extra money.  SMH

I just don't get it...

Not only do I see opportunity to advance in the position that I'm in, but I am so thankful for my Internet businesses and my network marketing business!

While I was at work yesterday I had two people sign up under my Total Funnel System account that I work promote along with my Internet Profits For Newbies account.

I know the pic below is blurry, but I had to show you the proof.  The proof is in the pudding!  :)  Two sign ups, while I was at work.  :)  What a blessing.

That is such an awesome feeling to know that even while I work my day job, I am building my online business without having to actually work it.  All of the groundwork that I put in in the beginning is working for me and bringing me new team members.

I guess I'm done ranting for now.  :)

I now have a new title in life...

Oops! Lost Content Due To Forwarding My Websites To My New Domain

How To Make Blogging Work For You

Welp... The answer to this question is quite simple.

Focus on your blog.

Your blog is your home away from home.  It is your virtual home.  Make sure your blog is lived in!  In other words, blog every single day.

The more you blog, the more people will visit your blog.  The more people visit your blog, the more they follow your blog.  The more people follow your blog, the more people trust you enough to purchase your products and do business with you.

So many people start a blog and spend way too much time focusing on the wrong things.  They do everything but bring value to the market by consistently blogging.

Take it from me, posting links on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram will only do so much!  And that isn't much...  Everyone is doing that.  What makes you any different from the thousands of other people that are using this "marketing strategy"? 

Having a lot of likes and comments is one thing.  Building a list, building relationships, gaining trust and making sales is another.  I would assume you got into this business for the latter.  :)

With that being said, if you want to make money in this industry you have got to put in work.  You'd be surprised at how much your business with transform along with your bank account :) when you blog on a daily basis.

Content is King and Marketing is Queen.  Give the Queen something to work with.  :)

Great Day, Elite Marketing Pro and How To Use Google Hangouts

Today has been a super fantastic, awesome and productive day!

School started for my daughter today and she woke up super early at 8:00 am (BY HERSELF!).  :)  She started her lessons at 9:00 am and was done by noon!  I am so proud of her.  She was proud of her too!  She was just excited that she could spend the rest of the day doing other things she enjoys.

I had an appointment at the hospital this morning to start volunteering in the surgery department and of course I was invited into the volunteer program!  I am so excited!!  More to come on that journey in later posts.  ;)

I have been sharing Elite Marketing Pro  all day via social media and I have been getting a great response.  Especially on Instagram.  I am really loving Instagram!

Back To Blogging Basics: How To Build A Blog Following

I have been driving myself crazy all week at attempting to create new blogs to market on.  I shared the pic above on all of my social media accounts to express my frustration!  Finally I came to one simple conclusion.  STICK WITH WHAT YOU'VE GOT!

Why would I try to create more work for myself when I already have a blog with a following.  Now, yes... I have not been as active in the blogging community as I used to be and therefore I haven't gotten as much activity and feedback from my readers.  But that's okay.  All I have to do is get back to it.

I really needed some inspiration today to get me over my social media/blogging hump, so I went to YOUTUBE!

I started watching videos from one of my blogging mentors, Alex Beadon.  I originally went to her to figure out how to get more likes on my Facebook Fan Pages, then I started watching all kinds of stuff.

She took me right back to the blogging basics with the video below.  Check it out!



Anyhow.  If you're feeling overwhelmed like me.  Hopefully this video helped to calm you as well.
