I made homemade potatoe chips! Here's how I did it!

 

Let me tell you how good God is! 

I know... "Monique... I thought this post was about how you made homemade potato chips.  What does that have to do with God being good?"

Just hear me out my little butterfly :)

Yesterday one of my Facebook friends posted a photo of her bologna sandwich with chips in it and said something like, "Sometimes you just need a plain old bologna sandwich with chips in it!"  Then she asked, what kind of weird sandwiches we ate growing up.

I don't know about weird, but I commented on her post and said, "That settles it!  I'm having a tuna salad sandwich tomorrow." I ate a lot of tuna sandwiches growing up.  I had bologna sandwiches too, but waaaay more tuna salad sandwiches.

My facebook friend replied back to me with, "Put some chips on it!" and I thought... hmmmmm... That's a good idea. I know it's gonna be good!

Then I thought, that would be fun to try and make my own potato chips, just to see how they would come out.

So, I looked up how to do it and I made a plan!  

Mind you, we already had a bag of Lay's potato chips in the kitchen, or so I thought! LOL

Well, today is tomorrow and I got in that kitchen and made me some homemade potato chips!  And they are delicious! LOL

I also made the tuna and as I was assembling plates, I was going to give my mother-in-law some of the Lay's and THEY WERE GONE! 

My mother-in-law said that she ate them last night!  LOL

BUT GOD honey! But God!!! lol

I had no idea the Lay's potato chips were gone.  God knew we would need the homemade chips and led all of my steps honey!

It's the little moments like this that make me aware of God's presence and how he supplies all of our needs, even the little bitty ones.  He's awesome!!

Anywho... The chips are amazing and I highly suggest you make you some.  You never know when you may want some and either you don't have any from the store or don't feel like going to get them from the store.

As long as you have oil, potatoes and some salt you're good to go!

You are so beautiful to me...

Have you ever sat and thought about your life and said, I'm lucky and blessed to have come out half-way decent! LOL And yes, the photo above is my baby picture.

I woke up this morning thinking about myself as a child.   How innocent I was and how we are all put into the care of others.  

As I layed in bed in my husbands arms, I saw him as a baby.  He was an adorable baby boy.  I know this from his baby pics.  :)  

I thought about how the world the doesn’t really know us.  We are all born into someone else’s life experience to experience a life of our own.  

The world can be mean, angry, hostile, and even pure evil to one of us and to another the word can be uplifting, happy, exciting and fruitful.  And yet we all meet up at the same place in life.  Together.  

We are all on the same roller coaster ride experiencing life’s ups and downs.  For some of us it’s exciting and thrilling, to others it’s terrifying and sickening.  Yet, we are all on the same ride, at the same amusement park.  

None of us better than another.  None of us immune to life’s ups and downs, yet we experience life in different ways. 

We are all just being.  Our state of being is constantly changing, mostly due to our emotions, but we are all BEING.

Being this or that or one thing or another....

As I thought about and saw my husband and myself as children all I wanted to do was love on us.

I wanted to give us all of the love and adoration that we ever felt we lacked as growing humans. 

We are such beautiful and wonderful creations!!!  We all have such power in us to be world changers and to impact the lives of others in a positive way.

With that being said... we all owe ourselves unconditional love.  We all owe ourselves patience, and peace and freedom to feel and cry and laugh and evolve.  

We are all in a constant state of evolution.  Nothing stays the same.  Hard times don’t last always.  We owe it to ourselves to overcome. 

I hope that you experience peace today.  That you dream BIG and go after those dreams.  That you make it happen for yourself.  You most certainly deserve it!

Just how serious are you about your goals?  Are you willing to look absolutely crazy to your friends, family and any and every other person who's ever known you to go for what you really want in life?

You may have heard the saying from the good Word... "To whom much is given, much is required..." ~Luke 12:48

If you want much, you'll have to not only put in that work but, you'll also have to be willing to get a crazy.

You'll have to get crazy about your vision, you'll have to get crazy about keeping a positive mindset, you'll have to get crazy about your personal and professional growth, you'll have to get crazy about learning and implementing new things, you'll have to get crazy with your boundaries, you'll have to get crazy in the eyes of all of those who doubt you and your ability to manifest your best life and business!

Are you willing to get a little crazy baby??  lol. I most certainly am.  It's my mood everyday! And if you're the same, then you and I can be friends.  Let's Gooooo! :)

With that being said... In today's marketplace we can't be passive about what we want.  If you want something, it's going to require you to be aggressive about it!

Your success is going to require you to put in some work.  Your success is going to require you to learn NEW things.  Your success is going to require you to get comfortable with being uncomfortable while doing new things in order to have what you've never had before.

I'm big on words and knowing the proper definitions of my favorite words and success is definitely one of my favorite words and so I had to look up the definition.

Here's the definition of the word Success according to Dictionary.com

Success (noun)

1) the favorable or prosperous termination of attempts or endeavors; the accomplishment of one's goals.

2) the attainment of wealth, position, honors, or the like.

3) a performance or achievement that is marked by success as by the attainment of honors: "The play was an instant success."

4) a person or thing that has had success, as measured by attainment of goals, wealth, etc.: "She was a great success on the talk show."

5) Obsolete. outcome.

Now let's go ahead and throw in some synonyms for Success...

-accomplishment                                -boom

-achievment                                        -fame

-advance                                              -gain

-benefit                                                -happiness

To sum it all up... Success is GOOD!  And it completely okay to want success.  It's okay to be successful.  It's okay to be ambitious and to want to achieve good, better, best in your life.  

Even if it costs you looking a little crazy to the non-believers...

And guess what?  Believe it or not, there are so many other people who are just as abitious as you and who want to achieve Good, Better, Best in their lives just like you.  And they are willing to look absolutely crazy to get everything they want, just like you!

Isn't that amazing to know?  

You'd better believe it!  You best life is waiting for you to show up!

So get up and go BE SUCCESSFUL!

80 Percent Of Success Is Spiritual??

 

I'm sure you've heard it before... "80 Percent Of Success Is Showing Up!"  But have you ever heard that "80 Percent Of Success Is Spiritual"?  Let's talk about it! 

Let's break down the saying first... if 80 percent of success is "showing up" or "spiritual", then what makes up the other 20 percent?  Well... it's the techy stuff, the know how, the knowledge, the skillset.  So yes.  You have to know what it is that you're doing and you do have to have some level of skill and knowledge of the business that you're in.  That's pretty common sense right?

Now... the other 80 percent truly is just showing up and doing what you say you're going to do... Walking it out... ACTION.  

Believe it or not, I truly believe that taking action is an act of faith and faith is spiritual.

The Bible says in Hebrews 11:1, that "faith is the substance of things hoped for and the evidence of things not seen."  It also says in Hebrews 11:6, that "without faith it is impossible to please God, for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him."  And so... faith in itself is spiritual.

The only way that you can express faith in what it is that you are trying to pursue in life and in business is to SHOW UP.  And not just show up, but show up expecting something to happen.  Show up expecting to get a new customer or team member... Show up expecting people to like you... Show up expecting someone to appreciate the value that you bring to the table... Show up expecting to succeed in everything you put your hands to.

You will never experience success if you don't believe in yourself enough to SHOW UP!!!

So, WALK BY FAITH, SHOW UP and SHOW OUT!

Whether it’s all good or all bad… Learn to shake it ALL off!!

Hello you beautiful HUMAN.  :)

So how are things shaking?  *Wink *Wink... Get it?  The title of my blog post is, "Whether it's all good or all bad... Learn to shake it ALL off!!" and I asked you, "How's it shaking?".... Get it?  LOL

Anywho, now that I've probably confused you with my corny joke... lol. Believe it or not, it can be very hard to shake things off emotionally.

Some of us are continually living a nightmare over and over because we haven't figured out how to shake off the hurt that we've experienced in this life.  And I get it.  It can be a HARD THING TO DO!!

The rest of us are spending too much time celebrating a win from months or years ago and are not making any new moves to further improve our lives and as a result we may seem delusional and are living life like a "has been".  If that makes any sense.

So which one are you?  

I have been guilty of both!  And one thing that I've learned is how to accept pain and accomplishment the exact same, which keeps me going.

I felt hurt and I feel like, "Okay, Great!  Not again... but this is life and it's bound to happen." The disappointment is bound to happen.  The struggles are bound to happen.  The pain is bound to happen.  

I accept the pain and choose to learn from it.  I choose to see where I was wrong... What I could have done better... How I will move forward in life from this point on.  What can I pass on to others to prevent them from having to go through what I did?  Or how can I help others get through while they're in it?

I accept people and situations for who and what they are and I learn from it.  

The same goes for when I accomplish something amazing.  I think, "Okay, Awesome!! I'm thankful, I'm grateful, I'm blessed!!  Now on to the next!"  lol Because every win brings us closer to the ultimate goal, which is really God's plan for our life.

One of my absolute favorite bible verses is: “'For I know the plans I have for you,' declares the Lord, 'plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you a hope and a future. '” — Jeremiah 29:11.

And since my desire is for God's plan to prevail in my life, I know that every trial will be overcome and every win will lead to more wins.  Knowing that keeps me going.  And I hope that it does the same for you.

So whether it's all good or all bad, learning to shake it all off will keep you MOVING.  It's hard to move forward when you're holding on to stuff.

And growth and forward movement is what it's all about!

Ex Voodoo Sorcerer Was Dragged to Hell and Now Reveals Satan’s Tactics ...

OMG you guys!  I don't want to scare you with some of the scary stuff that I watch when I fall down the YouTube rabbit hole of "What the!?" lol

But on a real note... Yes.  I do believe that people experience super-natural encounters, especially when they practice spirituality.

I do believe in heaven and hell and I do believe that there is a God that created the heavens and earth and that he loves us so much that he sent his only begotten son that whosoever believes in him shall not perish, but have everlasting life and that there is an advisory which is the devil that is destined for hell and wants to drag every one of God's creation that he can with him!

I do believe that the things we see and experience in the physical is a manifestation of what is taking place in the spiritual realm.  

I wake up everyday seeking God and standing in the authority that God has given me to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy as it is written in Luke 10:19.

I do believe that in the same way that I wake up seeking God, that there are others who wake up seeking Satan and working to execute his plan.

Welp... I found a video on YouTube entitled, "Ex Voodoo Sorcerer Was Dragged to Hell and  Now Reveals Satan’s Tactics ..."  and like any good soldier,  I couldn't pass up the opportunity to get an insiders peek into the enemy's territory and so I watched it.  lol  All 1 hour, 57 minutes and 48 seconds of it!

And boy was it eye opening.  Especially when he started talking about the dangers of profanity!!  OMG!

If you follow The WifeyMommyPreneur Podcast, then you know that in one of my most recent episodes I talked about how I am working on eliminating profanity from my vocabulary.  

It is definitely a work in progress! LOL

The reason that I decided to stop cursing was because I just felt like it was time for me to elevate the way I speak.  And I just feel like curse words are unnecessary.  It's just something that I grew up hearing, which led me to do it too and now... I'm ready for a change :)

Anywho... In the video, the ex voodoo sorcerer said that curse words are not only words, but they are actually entities.  And so when you use profanity, you are actually calling on on name of certain evil entities and that he's encountered them while he was practicing voodoo.

When he said that, I was like, "Wow!  Crazy how I was led to watch this video after I felt something in my spirit saying that it's time to cut the profanity out!"

Anywho, I'm reading this book that I've had for years, but never actually sat down to read... and Russell shared a quote by Steve Jobs that I must share with you!

Here goes:

Is that not the most amazing quote you have ever read!?!  I absolutely LOVE IT!  It's so true!!  If you truly believe that you can make a difference in this world and that you have the power to change things right from where you are with what you have available to you... YOU CAN!  And YOU WILL!  And YOU ARE!

And if you're crazy, you know exactly what I mean!  lol 

My question to you is, "Are you that crazy one?"  I know I am and I love it!

It's okay to be crazy enough to think you can actually make a difference in this world.  Better to be crazy than to be basic, right?  lol

Frying Bacon & Talking About Becoming An ASSET!

                                    

Two things everybody loves... Bacon and Assets!  LOL

While I was cooking bacon for my family, I was thinking about how important it is to not only accumulate assets, but to be an asset.

As I maneuver my way through this life, both personally and professionally, I have learned that the one who is the biggest help is the one that people value.  

I have been promoted in so many areas of my life, simply by being the one to lend a helping hand even when I didn't have to or there was no immediate benefit by doing so.

If you want to unlock the doors to more promotion, more opportunity, more money and better relationships, BECOME AN ASSET!

Sunday - May 22, 2022 - Bible Reading - Genesis Chapter 1 - KJV

It's been a while since I've created content for you guys and I wanted to get back into the groove. 

Soooooo... I figured what better way to get back into the groove than to do a weekly bible reading!!  LOL

And so I began this past Sunday on my WifeyMommyPreneur Podcast.  I read Genesis Chapter 1 and I will be reading THE ENTIRE BIBLE one chapter at a time EVERY SINGLE SUNDAY!

I'm very excited about this journey, because, I'll be able to get through the entire bible from front to back and that is something that I've always wanted to do.
