"Working Girls" - The show I found on Youtube!

It's very rare that I find something on youtube to watch that I actually enjoy enough to turn the lights off, curl up in bed and watch episode after episode, but the other night I found a show called "Working Girls" and I just loved it!

If you know anything about womens history you know that women had to fight for their place in the workforce.  Yet, there are still women who want nothing to do with work.

I, myself have been a victim of the I don't really have to work mindstate and what a miserable existence that was for me.  While I was fighting for "freedom" I  was broke and couldn't do anything!  Much like the young women in these videos.

What I like about the show is how they take these young non-working and proud women and they give them the opportunity to work for some extremely successful business women in hopes they can teach them the value of working.

While the girls were very resistant in he beginning, they quickly saw the benefits of earning a paycheck and being able to afford the luxuries of life.

Enjoy!

Rev. Dr. Jamal H Bryant - I Don't Need A Job

One of my friends on Facebook shared a clip of the following video with me.

I wanted to hear the entire message and another one of my Facebook friends messaged me the video in it's entirety.   This same Facebook friend by the name of Tokoyo Thrive Carter, also shared with me his travel business.  I do believe in supporting other entrepreneurs.  Tokoyo is a member of Avengers Network.  You can check out his business site here to learn more about his business opportunity.

I found the message in this teaching to be very interesting.  We as people can get so attached to individuals, places and things that we will miss what God has for us.

When it comes to jobs, many people will stay in a job that they absolutely hate in the name of a paycheck.

Check this video out and let me know what you think about the idea, "I don't need a job!"  I suggest you skip to 32:55 to get straight to the message.  The beginning of the video is the praise and worship part of the service.

Always wishing you Peace, Love, and Many Blessings~

“Here’s to the crazy ones. The misfits. The rebels. The troublemakers. The round pegs in the square holes. The ones who see things differently. They’re not fond of rules. And they have no respect for the status quo. You can quote them, disagree with them, glorify or vilify them. About the only thing you can’t do is ignore them. Because they change things. They push the human race forward. And while some may see them as the crazy ones, we see genius. Because the people who are crazy enough to think they can change the world, are the ones who do.”

The reality of working from home

Despite what many people believe when it comes to working from home, it's just the same as working outside of your home if not more difficult.

Not only do you still have to deal with customers, co-workers or colleagues, but you also have to manage your home life and your time.

It is so tempting to sit around all day and watch TV or surf social media sites.  I also find that I have this constant feeling that you could be doing something around the house like organizing or cleaning something.  When in reality I need to be getting some work done!

The cool thing about being an entrepreneur is having luxury of setting your own hours.  Especially with my Independent Home Agent Job.  I set my availability for the week with my clients and they count on me to be available during those set times to take calls from their customers.  If I'm not available during those times, I run the risk of loosing my contract with my client.

It's one thing to set your schedule and it's another thing to work your schedule.  Just like with any job, there are times when I don't feel like getting up and sitting at my computer to take calls.  I'd rather act like I'm busy by posting positive quotes on Facebook and Instagram!  But that's where being a good steward over the things you've been blessed with comes in.

My husband always laughs at me because he knows how excited I was when I became a home agent and got my first cooperate client.  I just couldn't believe that I would be able to make a steady income and get paid every two weeks via direct deposit from home!

Now I look at my husband and I'm like, "Okay... I'll be back in a few hours.  I've got to go deal with these customers."  And I'm not saying it with a smile on my face.  I really appreciate how my husband reminds me of how blessed I am and how happy I was I got the position.

Even with my AVON Business...  It's amazing how you can wake up one day and your dreams have actually become your reality.

I used to hope and wish that I would be able to get online sales from customers via my online store.  I used to have visions of me checking my e-mail and having customers orders in my inbox on a regular basis.  And now those hopes, dreams and visions have come into fruition.

Just today I opened my e-mail and had two Avon orders waiting for me.  It's so funny how much more exciting the dream is compared to the reality.

The reality is, it's all work.  Picking up the phone to verify customer orders is work.  It's work to deal with any issues customers may have with products of services.  It's work to input customer orders and it's work to deliver those items and then to follow up!

On another note...

I remember how I used to spend so much time TRYING to get people to respond to my online advertising for some of my affiliate accounts and lately I have been having people contact ME asking about what I have to offer.  What a blessing!

And again... It is WORK to actually help the people that contact me get set up with their opportunity and to coach them as they work their opportunity so that they achieve the results they are looking to achieve.

What have I been doing to get this type of response?

Taking God at his word... He says...

New Living Translation (Matthew 6:33)
Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously, and he will give you everything you need.

So many things have been coming to me lately.  All I have to do is be a good steward of those things that he puts into my hands.

The moral of the story is, working from home is WORKING from home.  There's nothing all magical or amazing about it except for the fact that you can work in your house shoes and pajamas with your hair a mess and no makeup.

Other than that, if you've got work to do, you've got to get it done or you too will be at home with no work.  Because you won't have any clients or customers if you're not doing what you've got to do to keep them.

Always wishing you Love, Peace, Prosperity and Many Blessings~

My very 1st day with Project Payday!

I signed up with Project Payday on the 14th of this month and I was so excited!  Then I found myself on youtube watching some of the reviews created by current affiliates.

Some of them were great, but one of them was not so great and it took me looking at that one negative review to get me very discouraged and not wanting to waste any time promoting their opportunity.

When I signed up I read that affiliates were not to promote their affiliate link via Instagram, which I was okay with considering the fact that the company was not getting very high conversion rates from people promoting this way.  The lead quality was very poor.

The affiliate or should I say former affiliate that did the negative review of Project Payday said that not only could you not promote your affiliate link via Intagram, but you also would not receive any compensation for leads generated through ANY mobile device.  Meaning you will not get paid for anyone filling out the opt in form from their cell phone, Ipad or tablet.

I immediately became extremely cautious of this company and was about to throw the opportunity out of the window!  I went right to my email and contacted Project Payday to see if this was true.  I let them know that I was very discouraged because more and more people are accessing the Internet from their mobile devices on a daily basis.  They shot me an email right back assuring me that the statement made about them not paying for leads by people on their mobile devices was NOT true.

Well you know I had to test it.  I sent my referral link to one of my friends that was interested in the Project Payday's opportunity and they filled out the opt-in form (from their cell phone) and when I checked my back office there it was!  I was paid $1.50 for that lead. **Check out the pic above** :)

I was very excited and I knew that I was on my way to getting lot's of money with Project Payday!
