“Sorting vs. Selling: The Strategy That Will Set You Free” SPECIAL REPORT - FOR THE NETWORK MARKETER!

Wow, this is an important topic!

So many people looking to start a home business are under the impression that you have to become a door-to-door sales person, professional telemarketer, or some lady doing home meetings to make money.

ALL WRONG. (Well, unless you like to do that sort of thing…)

Here is the rule we live by as home business owners: “We sort and we market. We DO NOT sell!”

One of the quickest ways to fail in network marketing is to become a sales person. A selling superstar is easy to spot. They jump in with two feet and start sponsoring people like crazy… I’m talking 20-30 a month. You couldn’t be more excited, and you think you’ve just hit the MLM jackpot!

Here’s what will happen. Within two months, all of those new reps sponsored by your super- star, start dropping like flies until nobody’s left.

Why does this happen? Because people can’t be duplicated. The superstar’s new people can’t do what he did, and he can’t figure out why. After all, it was so easy…

This is why having an effective system is so important. Systems ARE semi-duplicatable because they level the playing field for everyone.

I say semi-duplicatable, because once again… People don’t join a company, they join you, which means you and your Alpha or Beta status will have a massive impact on your sponsoring success.

In the end, when it comes to selling a business opportunity, your results will eventually fall onto your shoulders… Do you have personal value to offer this person? Are you an Alpha leader? Will they gain power by associating with you?

So how do you know when you are selling so you can avoid it?

The moment you starting explaining ANYTHING about your product or business you are selling.

If you say anything more than the name of the company or product and cite a testimonial, you are selling.

If you start to tell them the ingredients or price, you are selling. If you start to tell them what it does, you are selling. If you start to explain the compensation plan or give the background of the company founders, you are selling!

DON’T DO IT!

Professionals sort. Amateurs sell.

Think of yourself as a professional promoter. It is your job to hand out information to as many people as possible about a very exciting business opportunity or product. That’s it.

YOUR ONLY JOB is to get out marketing tools to as many people as possible because it’s these marketing tools that do the selling for you.

Whether it’s a website, e-book, CD, brochure, or DVD movie... They contain your presentation. They do all of the legwork for you. Gone are the days when you have to know anything and everything about your product or business, and sit down for an hour across from someone at Denny’s to “show the plan.”

The tools will sell the business and the product. You simply need to worry about selling yourself as a leader.

Listen, you could take a 50-year-old, fifth generation farmer and put him to work in the field with some hand tools, or you could take a kid from New York, and stick him in a tractor. Who will be able to harvest the bigger crop?

The kid from New York! It wasn’t his lifetime of experience that gave him the edge. It was his tools.

Let the marketing tools do the sorting and selling for you.

Don’t waste your time with the people who don’t get it. Don’t wonder why your best friend or next door neighbor didn’t see the same opportunity you did. That is not your concern. Your concern is giving them the opportunity to simply say yes or no.

All you are doing with each new person you expose to your business or product is creating the opportunity for something good to happen. The more opportunities you create, the more success you will have.

To Your Success~

Marriage And Entrepreneurship: Keeping Your Marriage Intact

Being a WifeyMommyPreneur is hard work!  We literally do it all!  Between all the meetings, cooking, cleaning, errand running, child rearing and everything else you can think of....some days I feel like I'm running around like a chicken with my head cut off.  It's so easy to start neglecting the hubby.  He deserves his special time too.  A happy husband equals a supportive husband!

The reason I decided to become "The WifeyMommyPreneur" is so that I can spend more quality time with my family.  I didn't think I would be more busy than I ever was when I was working a 9 to 5.  Balance is key to success in all areas of our lives.

With that said, I was on Entrepreneur.com and I came across this article on keeping your marriage intact and of course...I had to share it.  :)

Enjoy~

Keeping Your Marriage Intact

ByLisa Druxman

I'm often asked if my husband helps with the business. I guess that depends on your definition of "help." He has a full-time job that has nothing to do with the business. However, I couldn't run my business without him. When you become a mom entrepreneur, you need support from your spouse more than ever.

As much as we may think of ourselves as Super Moms, we can't do it all. There simply aren't enough hours in the day. If your life was divided into a pie chart, the two biggest pieces would probably represent your business and your kids. Household chores and "proper care of husbands" tend to be neglected. If your husband isn't supportive, it's hard to juggle all the balls. This doesn't mean that you shouldn't move forward or carry on with your business. There are things you can do to inspire your partner to be more supportive.

1. Share the vision with him. Make him feel like your venture is a family business and that the rewards at the end belong to all of you.

2. Help your spouse see the benefits of being at home with your children. Beyond the advantages to your kids, there may be financial benefits if you work from home and can reduce child-care costs and write off home business expenses.

3. Create a family planner. Make sure all parties are in agreement about work time, family time and who's taking your son to soccer.

4. Have a weekly--or at least monthly meeting--with each other. My husband once commented that I have time for meetings with all of my staff but rarely have two moments for him. We started having lunch meetings when we catch up on calendars and communication. This is different from date nights when we rekindle romantic feelings for each other. This meeting is for communication.

5. Let him know how he can help you. Instead of nagging him, do your best to let him know how he can help you be successful. Ask him to honor your work hours and not call you at those times or to help out with certain household chores so that you can have some extra work time.

6. Draw the line. Most entrepreneurs tell me that they are never without their Blackberry or laptop, even when in bed watching TV. It doesn't make for a happy marriage when the wireless connection is stronger than the one with your husband. Have at least a few nights per week when work is truly turned off.
An entrepreneur's personality is very different from that of most. We are risk-takers, dreamers and maybe a little impractical. My husband couldn't be more opposite. He is practical, logical and very conservative in his decisions. Yet he believes in me and in the journey we are taking. Just be understanding when he has trouble understanding you. The differences between you may be an asset to your business. Use your spouse as a sounding board and be open to answers that are different from your own.

Being an entrepreneur means risk, time away from your family and a lot of hard work. The only way to succeed is with team work. I feel extremely lucky for the support of my husband. On multiple occasions, I have thought of throwing in the towel because things were just too stressful. If he had agreed, I might have done it. But my husband always encouraged me to keep going. You are a mom entrepreneur for your family. Keep that in mind so that you share the journey together.

Robo Form: Tip Of The Day! *Time Saving*

Tip of The Day:

Saves Hundreds Of Minutes A Week
If You're Online Much...

It's absolutely INSANE how many websites, ask you to create (and even memorize!) 8 digit passwords that you have to use every time you login.

Quick Tip: You can save hundreds of minutes a week by subscribing to password software like Roboform that will "memorize" your passwords for you and protect them under a single but difficult to "crack" master password.

Password Tips: It's important that your master password is updated regularly for maximum security. Your master password should consist of mostly random letters and digits. It's never a wise idea to use your pets name, nickname, spouse's name, kids names, addresses, or any other publically available information.

There are even random password generators online that will help you choose a password that is difficult if not impossible to guess.

The Key To Your Success Is YOU!

They're Too Old To Have
A Babysitter...
I hate to say it but there are a lot of BABIES in the network marketing industry...

They lean on their upline, they wait for the next meeting, or phone call in order to find out what their "next step" should be in their business...

They never take responsibility for their daily actions or success...

Imagine what would happen if THEY suddenly took the initiative...

If THEY suddenly took 100% of the responsibility for their success in their business away from their upline...

If they suddenly took success into THEIR own hands!

I mean, JUST Imagine...

Now, this might sound kinda obvious because this is an industry based on leadership and taking responsibility for your actions.

But there are no excuses for failure in this industry that actually matter...

There is only glorious success or painful failure...

It doesn't hurt to remind ourselves...

That while we can blame anybody we want for our failure in business...

In the end, the only person who is responsible for our success -- is us.

The only person who is responsible for your success -- you.

But we are much more powerful than we could possibly imagine or believe...

It doesn't hurt to remind ourselves that...

In those times of our greatest difficulties in business, and in life, there is always a golden opportunity for us to shine...

If we trust in our limitless potential and take total responsibility for our daily actions then there's nothing we can't do...
To your success~

Positive thinking is a mental attitude that admits into the mind thoughts, words and images that are conductive to growth, expansion and success. It is a mental attitude that expects good and favorable results. A positive mind anticipates happiness, joy, health and a successful outcome of every situation and action. Whatever the mind expects, it finds.

Empowerment Tip!

Remember to incorporate service into your life and help others. Find a worthy cause or charitable organization to donate your time or finances to. But remember that you don’t always have to receive recognition for every good work. Even if no one knows what you’ve done, the most important BEING knows what you’ve done. How much better to serve and give from the heart and never have to announce it to anyone! You WILL get your 10-fold in return, it’s a fact because in life you reap what you sow.

To Your Continued Success!

Why New Reps Drop Like Flies...

Have you ever wondered why new reps drop faster than house flies dancing on a bug zapper?

I'm going to reveal the OBVIOUS reason why tons of people who get started in our industry fail miserably after one, two, three, four months, or even a year...

But let me tell you why they DON’T fail first...

It's NOT because they're not working hard enough...

It's NOT because they're not investing the time...
It's NOT because because they don't have a marketing plan...
It's NOT because they don't treat their business like a business...
It's NOT because they don't follow up with their prospects...
It's NOT because they aren't getting in front of enough people...
It's NOT because they're not positive or cheery enough...
It's NOT because they're scared to pick up the phone...
It's NOT because they don't have enough leads...
It's NOT because they're not making a profit...

So why DO people fail in this industry?

I will tell you why I believe people fail in this industry....
It's so blatantly obvious that you may very well chuckle when you hear it...
(DRUMROLLLL PLEEAASSSSEEEE!)
They fail because they quit...

If you want to succeed in this industry then whatever you do...
Don't ever quit!

Tip of The Day:
How To Measure Your
Social Media R.O.I.

If you're wondering whether or not you're wasting your time with Facebook, Twitter, Social Bookmarking, Blogging, or Forums then you're not alone.

But don't give up just yet! The fact is, it's really easy to measure your results in social media marketing with today's modern link tracking technology...
These days I find myself using Google Analytics because it allows you to track almost EVERYTHING you can imagine if you know how. (The learning curve is a bit steep if you’re not a “techie” but it's worth it...)
When it all boils down, this marketing game is all about the numbers.
