Mid-Week Bible Study Review: The Holy Spirit Is Not an IT. He is a PERSON!

I wanted to share my mid-week bible study lesson with you all. How often do you communicate with your helper, The Holy Spirit?

John 14:26 But when the Father sends the Advocate as my representative—that is, the Holy Spirit—he will teach you everything and will remind you of everything I have told you.

Mark 16:17-18New Living Translation (NLT) 17 These miraculous signs will accompany those who believe: They will cast out demons in my name, and they will speak in new languages.[a] 18 They will be able to handle snakes with safety, and if they drink anything poisonous, it won’t hurt them. They will be able to place their hands on the sick, and they will be healed.”

Have a great rest of the week!

Be blessed!

A Positive Start! Positive Affirmations for Entrepreneurs

I woke up this morning and knew I needed some positive motivation.  I wanted to stay in bed and sleep the day away.  But if you don't work you don't eat!  This law especially applies to the entrepreneur.

I went on-line to read some of my favorite affirmations and I came across a new website that I will be visiting regularly from now on.  It's  I just love the positivity that exudes from this site!  Pay a visit and you'll know what I'm talking about.  I even followed the author, Ralph Quintero on Instagram.  I like to keep positive things in my face all day.

Here are a few of the affirmations that I read from his post today...

"1. I attract success and prosperity with all of my ideas.
2. Success and achievement are natural outcomes for me.
3. Success and good fortune flow toward me in a river of abundance.
4. All of my thoughts, plans and ideas lead me straight to success.
5. Opportunities and advantages come with each door that I open.
6. The positive advantage is always mine.
7. Prosperity and success is my natural state of mind.
8. I ascend to the top.
9. I am an example of success and triumph.
10. I have a magnetic and dynamic personality.
11. My personality is radiant with confidence, certainty and optimism.
12. I have always more than enough money to meet my needs.
13. Unexpected money falls simply into my lap.
14. I attract only lucrative, enjoyable and beneficial circumstances.
15. I receive money just by thinking luxuriously.
16. When I open my mailbox, there’s always a check for me.
17. My attitude grows happier and healthier every single day.
18. I love and enjoy what I do.
19. I have created the perfect business for myself.
20. I wake up with the best job in the world."

You can read the rest of them here...

He also shared this awesome video that I will add to my daily positive power sessions!  Check it out...

Well I just wanted to share the positivity!  :)  I'm off to be productive.

Have a wonderful day!

Day 1: Feel Good Blogging Challenge!

Alrighty!  I am taking the "Feel Good Blogging 7-Day Challenge", so over the next seven days I will be blogging!  Yaaaaay!

So let's get right into it.  I have 5 questions to answer and here's the first...

Who are you?

Or who am I?  Well, my name is Monique Bradford and I'm from Los Angeles, California.  I have the most wonderful husband and we've been married for over 11 years.  He is the CEO of TherezMore2C ENT.  And his work ethic is amazing!  He inspires me every single day.  We have a very talented, energetic, smart and beautiful 9 year old daughter named Lyrical that is home-schooled by yours truly.  My family is so important to me and I love to spend time with them so I schedule everything around my family.

I am always busy!  If I'm not cooking, I'm cleaning.  If I'm not giving Lyrical lessons, I'm working.  If I'm not working on my Avon Business, I'm taking Pizza orders from home for Pizza Hut (Fill out the form on the right if you want help doing the same thing). If I'm not working on my projects, I'm assisting my husband with his.  When I'm not doing any of these things I am in my bed taking a much needed nap!

I am at a point in my life where I am seeing that I need to start taking some kind of time for myself.  I need time to rejuvenate.  I am beginning to schedule things that make me feel good and relaxed so that I can give of myself to others.  I am 31 and my me time is becoming very important to me. (Just a side note :)

Why did I start blogging?

I have always enjoying writing.  All throughout my years in school I wrote poetry.  I also loved doing writing assignments.  Writing truly is freedom for me.  I feel like I can really express myself when writing.  It's just me and my pen and paper or in this case, me and my computer.

I really began to "blog" when myspace was popular and I gained a following.  I had people that would regularly read and comment on my poetry and thoughts and I fell in love with it.  It was only natural for me to start an actual blog.

Who is my blog for?

That's a good question.  lol  I originally started my blog for me.  I just wanted to be free to express myself.  Being that I have an entrepreneurial spirit, (which I believe we all do, we've just been trained since birth to go out and get a job, but that's another story)  I decided to find a niche so that I could begin to monetize my blog.  The problem is I never really found a niche.  So then I became anti-niche.  I enjoy writing too much to just focus on one subject to write about.  My life is so rich with so many different things that I can't narrow it down.  I write about my life and I wear too many hats to focus on just one aspect of my life.

I do love to motivate people because I am such a motivated person and I truly believe that we all have a purpose and are gifted to do amazing things when we tap into that special place inside of us that brings it out.

I want my blog to be a place where people come to be entertained, motivated and inspired to live life without bounds.  I don't know everything there is to know about marriage, motherhood and entrepreneurship or life in general.  I have so much more to experience and learn, but what I do know and what I do learn I want to share with others.

What's something that I've been working on lately that I'm really proud of?

First off, I'm proud of myself for taking this Feel Good Blogging Challenge because I  feel like I'm finding my passion for writing again and actually having fun with my blog.

I'm also proud to be in a place in my life where I'm taking more time out for me.  I'm being much more honest with myself and others and just being and feeling much more genuine.  I'm getting rid of the ego and pride that would hold me back from really connecting with people.  I'm accepting and loving me for me rather than trying to be what I think other people want me to be.

What's the ONE MESSAGE that I hope people take away from my blog?

I want people to leave my blog feeling good about themselves.  I want them to leave knowing that they are not alone in whatever struggle they are in or whatever goal they are trying to achieve.  I want my readers to leave feeling loved, inspired and motivated to either continue or begin making positive changes in their lives.  I want them to know that they've got a friend in me.  WE ARE PEOPLE, WE ARE ONE!  :)

Prayer to GIVE good customer service!

I found this prayer online and I had to share it.  It is not always easy to deal with customers, but the bottom line is, our customers make up our bottom line!

Read this when you need a pick me up.  Print it out and post it if you have to!  :)

Always wishing you Love, Peace, Prosperity and Many Blessings~~

Customer Care Prayer

Lord, I beg you, give me strength
With certain customers who talk at length.
Give me patience and the common sense
To listen while the customer vents.
Let me feel what they go through
So I can see their point of view.
Guide my words that what I say
Reaches them in a courteous way.

Open my ears that I may be led
To hear the message left unsaid.
Show me ways to build rapport
That lets them know we offer more.
Make me always show respect
And far exceed what they expect.

Remind me that service is but part of my role;
Customer care becomes the primary goal.
Help me to always live by this prayer
To prove to them I really care.
And at day's end, let me look back with pride
That I kept every customer satisfied.

Lord, help me remember that
When dealing with customers leaves me a wreck,
They are the ones who fund my pay check.
