The Homeless And Social Media

I just read an awesome and inspiring article on CNN Tech about how the homeless are turning to social media as a way to seek out shelter and support.  And guess what!?  They are finding it!  In a world where they seem to have no voice, they are making a lot of noise and being heard in the social media arena.

This is yet another reason why I love the internet; especially the social media scene.  We are all able to connect with so many different real people around the world with the click of a mouse.

If the homeless are able to utilize twitter and facebook to create a new life for themselves, then we can and definitely should all be using these media outlets and countless others on the world wide web to grow our businesses.
