Blogging Tips: Adding Labels and Blogging Daily~ Even When You Don't Feel Like It!

There are so many people that are intrigued by the fact that they can make a living by blogging.  The truth is it's work just like anything else.  Just like when you are working a regular 9 to 5, there will be times when you are tired and don't feel like working.  FYI; today is one of those days for me!  And yet, here I am, adding new content to my blog.

I recently added a label widget to my blog.  I entitled it "What are you looking for?".  You'll find it right under the "Find Us On Facebook" widget.  (Please "Like" The WifeyMommyPreneur on Facebook, by the way~ Thank You! :)

The purpose of a label is to sort your blog posts by topic. Adding the labels widget to your blog is a great way to make sure that your blog is user friendly.  It allows your readers to quickly get to the blog posts that they are most interested in.  All you have to do is make sure that you add labels to each post you create.  That way when you do decide to add the label widget, they will already be sorted.

I started reading one of my previous posts, 10 Blog Traffic Tips, last night while I was updating my labels.  It was what inspired me to create the post you are reading now.  Here is tip number 9:

Write one new blog post per day minimum. Not every post has to be a pillar, but you should work on getting those five pillars done at the same time as you keep your blog fresh with a daily news or short article style post. The important thing here is to demonstrate to first time visitors that your blog is updated all the time so they feel that if they come back tomorrow they will likely find something new. This causes them to bookmark your site or subscribe to your blog feed.
